At MechFable, we bring wood and metal together to make little robots with personalities of their own. Some look thoughtful. Some look mischievous. Each has a name—and perhaps one will remind you of someone you know.
Made by Hand, One Detail at a Time
In our workshop in Fuzhou, China, we cut and sand the wooden pieces, choose the metal details, and bring each design together by hand.
A different pair of eyes or a little bow tie can change a robot’s whole expression. Those small choices are a big part of what we love about making them.
We may return to a favorite design, but natural wood grain and small handmade variations mean each finished piece has its own character.

Our Next Chapter
Our goal is to create 1,000 original robot designs, one at a time. It’s an ongoing project, with new characters joining the collection as we make them.
