Our studio grew from a fascination with retro machinery, industrial details, wood, metal, and the expressive possibilities hidden in ordinary components. Instead of treating these materials as simple parts, we bring them together to create small robots that feel as though they each have their own story.
Made by Hand, Not by Machine
Every RustSoul robot is individually crafted by hand in China. The wood is shaped, sanded, assembled, and finished by hand, then combined with carefully selected metal components to form each robot’s face and character.
Our designs can be reproduced, but they are not mass-produced by machines. Natural wood grain, component placement, color, and finishing may vary slightly from piece to piece. These differences are part of the handmade process and ensure that no two robots are perfectly identical.
Original Designs with Steampunk Character
Each robot is an original RustSoul Studio design inspired by steampunk art, retro machinery, and industrial craftsmanship. Some designs feature a single expressive face, while others are double-sided with two different personalities.
Depending on the design, our robots can be used as keychain charms, bag charms, necklace pendants, hanging ornaments, or distinctive collectibles.
Finished Robots and DIY Kits
Selected designs are available as fully assembled robots or complete DIY kits. Our finished robots arrive ready to use, while the DIY kits include prepared components, connecting hardware, and the tools needed for assembly.
