TERMS OF SERVICE

1. ABOUT US

Welcome to MechFable Studio. This website, mechfable.com, is operated by (Hailijia (Fuzhou) Supply Chain Management Co., Ltd.), trading as MechFable Studio. In these Terms, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to this company.

These Terms apply to your use of our website and purchases from our store. Please read them together with our Refund Policy, Shipping Policy, and Privacy Policy.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. If any provision conflicts with mandatory consumer protection law applicable to your purchase, that law takes precedence.

2. ELIGIBILITY AND ACCOUNT INFORMATION

To place an order, you must have the legal capacity to enter into a purchase contract under applicable law.

Please provide accurate and complete contact, payment, billing, and delivery information. You must be authorized to use the payment method provided.

If you create an account, keep your login credentials secure and notify us if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. OUR PRODUCTS

We sell handmade robot charms, accessories, decorative collectibles, and DIY assembly kits. Please check the product description and selected version carefully before ordering.

Finished robots arrive assembled. DIY kits arrive unassembled, with the contents described on the relevant product page.

Each item is individually assembled or prepared by hand. Minor variations in wood grain, color, component placement, and finish may occur. Screen settings may also affect how colors appear.

These variations do not remove your right to receive goods that match their description and meet applicable legal standards for quality, fitness, and safety. We remain responsible for faulty, damaged, incorrect, or materially misdescribed goods as required by law.

Our robot collectibles and DIY kits are not intended as children’s toys. DIY kits are recommended for ages 14 and older and contain small parts and assembly tools. Follow the instructions and warnings supplied with the product.

Product descriptions may be updated for future purchases. Changes will not alter the description or agreed terms of an order already accepted.

4. ORDERS AND CANCELLATIONS

Submitting an order is an offer to purchase the selected goods. An automated order-receipt email acknowledges receipt and does not by itself confirm acceptance. We accept your order when we send a dispatch confirmation, unless we expressly confirm acceptance earlier.

We may decline an order before acceptance for reasonable grounds, such as unavailable stock, unsuccessful payment, suspected fraud, or an unsupported delivery address. If we decline an order after collecting payment, we will refund the amount collected.

We will not substitute products, increase an agreed price, or make another material change to an accepted order without your agreement.

For an order change or cancellation request, contact zyan78747@gmail.com as soon as possible. We may be unable to stop dispatch once processing has progressed, but this does not affect any applicable statutory cancellation or withdrawal rights.

If we cannot fulfil an accepted order, we will notify you promptly and refund any payment for the goods and delivery we cannot provide. Your other legal rights remain unaffected.

5. PRICES, PAYMENT, AND IMPORT CHARGES

The currency and charges applicable to your order are shown at checkout. Please review the total before submitting your order.

Shipping is US$3.99 for eligible orders with a merchandise subtotal below US$50. Eligible orders with a merchandise subtotal of US$50 or more receive free standard shipping. The threshold is calculated after discounts and excludes separately charged shipping and taxes.

Prices may change for future orders. Price changes do not affect orders already accepted.

For the destinations we currently serve in the United States, the United Kingdom, and the European Union, applicable import duties and import taxes are included in the amount paid at checkout. Customers should not be asked to pay additional import charges on delivery.

If a carrier requests an unexpected customs payment, contact zyan78747@gmail.com before paying so we can investigate and arrange a resolution.

Any other applicable taxes and charges will be included or displayed before you place your order, as required by law.

Payments are processed through the payment providers available at checkout.

6. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

We ship from China to the destinations enabled at checkout. Coverage may exclude particular regions or addresses within a country.

Orders are dispatched within 48 hours after payment confirmation. Estimated transit time after dispatch is 7–15 business days. Business days exclude weekends and public holidays.

Transit times are estimates. If a significant delay occurs or your parcel does not arrive, contact us so we can investigate and provide an appropriate resolution. An estimated delivery period does not remove your rights concerning late delivery or non-delivery.

We remain responsible for loss or damage during delivery by a carrier arranged by us until you, or a person you designate other than that carrier, physically receive the goods.

Please provide a complete and accurate delivery address. Contact us promptly if an address needs correction.

7. RETURNS, REFUNDS, AND FAULTY GOODS

You may request a change-of-mind return within 14 days after receiving your goods. After notifying us, send the goods back within a further 14 days.

Contact zyan78747@gmail.com with your order number and a clear statement that you wish to return or cancel your purchase. We will provide return instructions and the return address. Where a statutory withdrawal right applies, your valid notice does not depend on discretionary approval from us.

For change-of-mind returns, you pay the direct return shipping cost. This does not apply to return costs we are legally responsible for, including necessary return costs for faulty, damaged, incorrect, or materially misdescribed goods.

You may reasonably inspect the goods. Opening a DIY kit does not by itself remove a statutory withdrawal right. Where permitted by law, a refund may be reduced for diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the goods’ nature, characteristics, and functioning, such as assembly, modification, or missing components.

For a valid withdrawal, we will refund the applicable amount to the original payment method within 14 days after receiving your notice. Where permitted by law, we may withhold the refund until we receive the returned goods or evidence that they have been sent back, whichever occurs first.

If you return the entire order under an applicable statutory withdrawal right, the refund includes the standard outbound delivery charge you paid. Additional charges for an optional upgraded delivery service are not refundable unless required by law.

The 14-day change-of-mind period does not limit your separate rights concerning faulty or non-conforming goods. Any longer or additional rights required by applicable law remain available.

See our Refund Policy for further details. That policy cannot reduce your mandatory legal rights.

8. RELATIONSHIP WITH SHOPIFY

MechFable Studio is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you. However, any sales and purchases you make in our Store are made directly with MechFable Studio. By using the Services, you acknowledge and agree that Shopify is not responsible for any aspect of any sales between you and MechFable Studio, including any injury, damage, or loss resulting from purchased products and services. You hereby expressly release Shopify and its affiliates from all claims, damages, and liabilities arising from or related to your purchases and transactions with MechFable Studio.

The consumer-rights protections in Sections 1 and 12 apply to this section.

9. PRIVACY

Our collection and use of personal information are described in our Privacy Policy.

Shopify also processes information in connection with hosting and operating the store. Further information is available in Shopify’s Privacy Policy.

Acknowledging these policies does not constitute consent to marketing or any other processing that requires separate consent.

10. WEBSITE CONTENT AND REVIEWS

Website content, including our original photographs, text, and designs, belongs to us or the relevant rights holders. You may browse and share links to our store for lawful purposes. Commercial reproduction of protected content requires permission unless otherwise permitted by law.

If you submit a review or other content for publication, you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to display and reproduce it in connection with the relevant product and our store. This does not transfer ownership of your content to us.

Reviews must reflect genuine experiences and must not infringe another person’s rights. We will not change a review in a way that misrepresents its meaning.

Private customer-service messages are not treated as permission to use those messages in advertising.

11. ACCEPTABLE USE AND THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Do not use the website for fraud, unlawful activity, harassment, infringement of others’ rights, distribution of malicious software, or attempts to bypass security controls.

Third-party websites and services may have their own terms and privacy practices. We do not control independent third-party websites. Nothing in this section removes responsibilities we have under applicable law for services we arrange or use to fulfil your order.

We may temporarily restrict website or account access where reasonably necessary to address security risks, unlawful activity, or a material breach of these Terms. This does not cancel our obligations relating to existing orders, refunds, or your consumer rights.

12. WARRANTIES AND LIABILITY

We will provide goods and services in accordance with our contractual obligations and applicable law.

We do not guarantee that the website will always be available or free from technical errors. This does not exclude our responsibility for legally binding product descriptions or other information on which your purchase is based.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

We do not exclude statutory guarantees or remedies concerning product quality, fitness for purpose, conformity with description, or other mandatory consumer protections.

We are responsible for loss or damage to the extent required by applicable law. These Terms do not require you to indemnify us or Shopify simply because you browse the website or make a purchase.

13. ERRORS AND CORRECTIONS

We may correct errors in website information for future transactions.

If we discover a material error affecting your order, we will contact you and explain the issue. We will not charge a higher price or substitute goods without your agreement.

Any cancellation or other action concerning an accepted order will be subject to applicable law. If an order is lawfully cancelled by us, payments for the cancelled goods and any applicable delivery charges will be refunded.

14. APPLICABLE LAW AND DISPUTES

The law applicable to these Terms and your purchase will be determined under the relevant conflict-of-laws rules.

Nothing in these Terms deprives you of mandatory consumer protections that apply in your country of habitual residence or restricts your right to bring proceedings in a court available to you under applicable law.

If you have a complaint, contact zyan78747@gmail.com with your order number and details. We will review it and seek a resolution. Contacting us does not prevent you from using other remedies available by law.

15. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms for future use of the website and future orders. The version applicable when you place an order will continue to govern that order unless a change is required by law or you agree otherwise.

Material changes will be communicated where required by law. Changes will not retrospectively reduce your rights under an existing purchase.

16. GENERAL PROVISIONS

If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply where legally possible.

A delay in exercising a right does not waive that right.

These Terms and the policies referenced in them form part of our agreement with you. They do not exclude binding pre-contract information, representations that cannot lawfully be excluded, or mandatory consumer rights.

Any transfer of our contractual obligations must comply with applicable law and must not reduce your rights or guarantees. We will notify you where required.
